Vestry Snippets (Jan)

Highlights from the January Vestry meeting:

  • The garden plan was approved - please have a look at the information on the noticeboard. This is a longterm project, and there will be opportunities for everyone to be involved. Many thanks to Felicity & Glennys for all their work to date.

  • Work continues on developing the parish mission action plan

  • HRS is working through the "snags list" items around the church plant.

  • Thanks to Mr Mod & Nick for polishing the St Mark's altar and re-instating the fretwork.

  • Two fundraisers to look forward to: Coupland's Hot Cross Buns are returning soon and daffodil bulbs will be available in March

  • Roma is to retire as our Verger - a parish breakfast is planned to acknowledge her service (date yet to be decided)

  • A new pastoral care team is being established - look out for details and ways you can be involved in the pewsheet over the coming weeks

  • Planning is underway for Ben's sabbatical in May, June & July.

  • Health & Safety: Please do not park by the front doors of the church on a Sunday morning
