A Vestry’s Work is Never Done

From the Vestry

A few highlights from the November Vestry meeting:

  • The role of the website in our re-generation was discussed, and Adam thanked for all the work he continues to do in this area.

  • Ways we can enrich our local community were suggested, and ideas about connecting with other local community outreach groups once we’re back on site were looked at.

  • Opawa Community Church will be joining us on Christmas Day. All our Christmas services will be adjusted to adhere to Diocesan guidelines regarding singing, social distancing etc…

  • We continue to give thanks for generous donations and the support of all our regular givers.

  • Plumbing issues attended to, and window sill painting is underway at Vincent Place. The tenants have given notice, and will vacate the property at the end of January.

  • Work on St Anne’s Chapel continues, and the foyer wall is being rebuilt. Belltower repairs yet to be completed. The new flooring in the Wilson Room has been installed.

  • Please support the “Buy a Chair” campaign, launched on Advent Sunday.
