The vicar’s thinking is that the parish offer one Christmas Play this year and that the parish energy goes into this on Christmas Eve. In other words, lets simplify our programme, allow children of the faithful (or adults!?) to have lead roles/speaking parts, while still allowing for the usual high level of community involvement.
